Differential steering system

The differential steering system(30) has a variable displacement motor (40) connected to a differential installed between first and second output components. The displacement from the motor varies from zero to maximum in both directions of movement. A main system pump (14) provided pressurised medium to drive the motor. A microprocessor (50) senses the direction and rate of revolutions of the steering motor's output, the RPM of the outputs from the differential, and the value of steering input, and proportionally controls the output of the steering motor.
