Industrial liquid filter assembly has sideways-movable filter plate

A filter assembly has a liquid filter zone with a filter plate (2) with a filter chamber (1) on one side into which the unfiltered fluid is introduced. The filter plate (2) is fluid-permeable on the side facing the chamber (1). The liquid passes into and drains through the filter, leaving a filter cake (3) on the filter surface. The novelty is that: (a) the filter plate (2) can be moved along its longitudinal axis; (b) the filter plate (2) can be moved sideways out of the filter zone for cleaning or maintenance.
