An installation is disclosed for storing dough products for a limited period of time in several superimposed planes (6) in a baking chamber (1). The dough products lie on flat, tray-shaped palettes, in particular rectangular palettes (2). The palettes in each plane (6) are arranged close to each other, so that when a palette (2) located in the first cabinet section nearest to the loading side is moved, all remaining palettes (2) located on the same plane of the cabinet are also moved.
