The torch incorporates an end cover (20) which is screwed into a tube (80). A ring shaped contact (30), with axial extensions (31), fits in grooves (401) in a plunger (40) which is mounted in the end cover. The plunger has a number of guide elements which have first cam surfaces (402). A drive assembly (60) with spring (62) and plunger (63) has a number of ribs with second cam surfaces A push-in assembly (65) with knob (651) and spring (652) is mounted in the back of the end cover. The drive assembly is pushed clear while overcoming the force of a spring (35) and while operating the push-in assembly. This allows the spring (35) to engage with the contact ring (30) to switch the torch on or off. |
