<p>A device for lifting and/or tilting containers, in particular refuse containers, comprises two container pick-up devices for picking up containers of different sizes. The container pick-up devices can move independently of each other or in synchronism. The container pick-up devices are driven by hydraulic cylinders (1, 2), each hydraulic cylinder (1, 2) being connected to a corresponding hydraulic circuit (3, 4). The hydraulic fluid for the hydraulic circuits is supplied by a pump (5). The device also comprises a compensating element (8) placed between the hydraulic circuits, for equalizing the volume flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinders (1, 2) during the synchronous movement of the container pick-up devices. The compensating element is a pressure difference valve (8) comprising at least two non-return valves (10, 11) and a flow regulating element (12). Each hydraulic circuit can be connected to a reservoir (9) for hydraulic fluid via a corresponding non-return valve (10, 11) and the flow regulating element (12). <IMAGE></p> |
