摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant method of a buried pipeline capable of decreasing damage even if there are variations in the ground through fault displacement caused by an earthquake. SOLUTION: The circumference of a buried pipeline 21 is backfilled with air mortar 22 using fine sand. The upper part of the air mortar using fine sand is backfilled with conventional backfilling earth 24. In that case, the strength of the air mortar 22 using fine snad can be adusted with water content, airflow and an amount of mortar. As a result, in the case variations occur in the ground by fault displacement, the air mortar 22 using fine sand is collapsed, and since external force is dispersed, the riskiness suffering damage can be extremely reduced without directly operating the external force on the buried pipeline 21.</p>
