PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject drink containing highly physiologically active lignan glycosides by immersing defatted sesame seeds containing the sesame- originated lignan glycoside in an alcoholic liquor or brew alcohol to elute the ingredients contained therein, and subsequently removing solid contents. SOLUTION: This alcoholic drink is obtained by immersing defatted sesame seeds having a fatty oil content reduced into <=5wt.% by the defatting treatment of sesame seeds and containing lignan glycosides (e.g. sesaminol glycoside) originated form the sesame seeds in a liquor having an alcohol content of 14 degree or in brew alcohol, leaving the mixture in a closed state for five days at room temperature to elute the lignan glycosides, and subsequently separating solid contents such as the residues of the defatted sesame seeds by a centrifugal separator, etc. The alcoholic drink enables to easily take the sesame seed- originated lignan glycosides having excellent physiological activities and excellent in palatability in good handleability. |
