PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill an ink supply system to a head with ink from an ink tank without wastefully discharging ink. SOLUTION: A pressure tube 15 forming an ink circulating passage, a suction tube 16, a head pressurizing tube 17 and a head suction tube 18 are connected across an ink tank 3 and a head 11 and a passage altering device 9 is selected to a first or second changeover state by a knob 9C and, in the first changeover state, the bypass passage allowing the pressure tube 15 and the suction tube 16 to communicate with each other is formed and, in the second changeover state, the pressure tube 15 and the head pressurizing tube 17 as well as the suction tube 16 and the head suction tube 18 are allowed to communicate with each other. |
