PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which fluctuation is suppressed in the positional relationship between a capping mechanism and a print head. SOLUTION: Position of a guide rail 8 is altered through eccentric rotation thereof caused by rotation of an operating lever 31 and the head gap is adjusted. A frame 23 for supporting a capping mechanism 24 is coupled rotatably with the guide rail 8. According to the structure, a substantially constant positional relationship is sustained between the capping mechanism 24 and a print head 5 even if the position of the guide rail 8 is altered for adjustment. |
