<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce air permeation resistance and to efficiently operate with less energy consumption by irregularly overlapping a synthetic resin fiber in a loop-like state and fusing the contact part of each filament by heating to form a mat like stereoscopic meshlike structural plate body and further heat compressing it to give a specific thickness ratio. SOLUTION: The structure of a biological deodorizing carrier 1a is the mat like stereoscopic meshlike structure formed by irregularly overlapping polyvinyldene chloride having 300-2000 denier fiber thickness and fusing the contact part of each filament by heating and is a plate body having 15-50mm thickness. Further the plate body is heat compressed to have a thickness ratio of 0.9-0.5 and has many fine voids inside. When packing the plate body in a biological deodorizing device, the mat like plate body cut to the cross-sectional dimension of the packing part is superposed and packed with a simple operation. As a result, small air permeation resistance is attained while holding a large water holding property and large surface area.</p> |
