<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable reversing operation by providing a control means to move a jogger fence to register a paper sheet in a staple tray up to a guide position of the paper sheet when the paper sheet is switched back and is reversely discharged. SOLUTION: When paper is reversely fed, the size of a paper sheet is confirmed when the paper sheet is carried to a postprocessing device, and a stepping motor 24 is driven by a pulse quantity necessary to move a jogger fence 11 up to a standby position fit for the respective size. When the paper sheet is switched back, the stepping motor 24 is driven in the inverse direction this time to return the jogger fence 11 up to a former home position, and when a home position sensor S5 detects the jogger fence 11, the stepping motor is stopped. Since the above-mentioned operation is repeated every time when the paper sheet is carried, a skew of the paper sheet at reversing time can be prevented.</p> |
