PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber in good yarn-making rate having luminous fluorescence excellent in strength by constituting the innermost layer of a polymer having excellent thread-forming property, establishing a polymer layer containing the luminous fluorescent material on the next of the innermost layer, providing a transparent polymer on the outermost layer. SOLUTION: The sectional profile of the fiber is set to a three layered structure, the outermost layer is constituted of a transparent polymer having 25μm >=of average thickness, the intermediate layer is constituted of a polymer containing 5-50wt%. of the luminous fluorescent material, the innermost layer is constituted of polymer having excellent threadforming property. This fiber is useful for a buoy, fixing cord of a lifesaving device, rope for a fishing gear, safety net, carpet, ornament of a cloth, etc.
