PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a handrail to a wall surface even if the clearance of the leg of the handrail and that of a fixture are not equal to each other. SOLUTION: The fixture for a handrail is made up of a fixation member 1 fixed to a wall surface and a ring 2, the circumference of which the leg of a handrail H is screwed into. The fixation member 1 has a flange 4 contacting a wall surface which is formed in the base of a cylindrical core 3, and the ring 2 is fitted into the outside of the core 3 with a clearance that allows it move in the radial direction. The ring 2 is prevented from coming off the core 3 and from turning in relation to the fixation member 1. Movement of the ring 2 in relation to the core 3 when appropriate allows the leg of the handrail H to be screwed into the circumference of the ring 2 and makes the handrail H to be attached to the wall surface easily.
|
