JIB OVERHANGING/STORING OPERATION DEVICE INSTALLED OUTSIDE OF OPERATOR CAB OF WALKING CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib overhanging/storing operation device outside a operation cab of a walking crane which can prevent dropping of the jib and damage and the like of a jib storing pin and a lock pin by installing a switching device for inserting and removing the lock pin adjacent to the jib storing pin. SOLUTION: A walking crane has a boom 3 and a jib 7 stored in a side part of this boom 3 and a holding device 20 which can separate this jib 7 and a lock pin 19a inserted in a foot part of the jib 7 and a tip part of the boom 3 and a jib storing pin 33 for fixing the jib 7 in the side part of the boom 3. In this case, a switching device 27 disposed adjacent to the jib storing pin 33 and also inserting and removing the lock pin 19a in the foot part of the jib 7 and the tip part of the boom 3 through an actuator is installed in the crane.
