PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt driving roller, a belt conveying device, and a belt fixing device as an application of the said two, which are able to convey an article to be conveyed so as not to cause damage such as wrinkles as far as possible and which can precisely maintain a prescribed belt conveying speed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a fixing roller and concurrently driving roller 941, a heating roller and concurrently driven roller 942, which is heated by a heater, an endless belt for heating 943, which is wound round the driving roller 941 and the driven roller 942, and a backup roller 945, which is pressed against the driving roller 941 with the endless belt 943 held between. The driving roller 941 has a surface layer part 941a consisting of elastic material (silicone sponge rubber) and is given polishing treatment along the peripheral surface of the surface layer part 941a and in the directionβreverse to the driving direction of the roller for belt conveyance (belt conveying directionα). |
