PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the axial length of a differential gear device even though a pair of friction clutches for controlling the yaw moment of a vehicle body, and actuators for the friction clutches. SOLUTION: A differential gear device comprises a differential gear mechanism 43 for allocating a drive force of an engine which is transmitted to a differential gear casing 5, between wheels through a pair of output members 45, 47, a speed increasing gear set 81, a friction clutch 107, a deceleration gear set 83 and a friction clutch 105 which are located between the differential gear casing 5 and the output member 47, actuators 109, 111 for engaging the friction clutches 105, 107, respectively, and a controller for individually actuating the actuators 109, 111. Further, the friction clutch 105 and the actuator 109 are arranged diametrically outside of the friction clutch 107 and the actuator 111. |
