PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a delayed-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which does not cause blocking even when stored at 70 deg.C and retains stable adhesiveness even to a polyolefin support for a long term, and a delayed-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet prepared by coating a support such as paper or film with the composition. SOLUTION: This invention provides a delayed-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive composition essentially consisting of a solid plasticizer and a pressure- sensitive adhesive, wherein the solid plasticizer is a compound represented by the formula and a delayed-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is prepared by coating a support with a delayed-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing a compound represented by the formula. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, a 1-8C alkyl orα,α-dimethylbenzyl and R3 is hydrogen or chlorine.
