SELF-ADHESIVE TAPE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-adhesive tape which enables the application of a release agent to a substrate surface directly printed by interposing an ink contg. an isocyanate-base curative between a release agent and a substrate. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive tape mainly comprises a sheet substrate 1, a release agent layer 4 formed on one side of the substrate 1, and a self-adhesive layer 5 formed on the other side of the substrate. Between the release agent layer 4 and the substrate 1, an ink 3 contg. an isocyanate-base curative is interposed in an amt. of 10-50wt.% of the main-component resin of the ink. Pref. the resin is a hydroxylated vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and the curative is a diisocyanate-base curative. The incorporation of a specific curative into printing ink enables the prevention of ink blur due to a solvent applied in applying the release agent and enables the contents to be maintained clear.
