PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a floor trim for a vehicle which improves the external appearance of a part mated with a lower rail and at the same time improve its lying workability. SOLUTION: A forming die which is provided with a bottom die 6 having an angle projection, a central die 7 provided on the top of the projection in such a state as being projected and sunk freely, a cutting blade 8 fitted to the bottom die 6 in such a state as being projected and sunk along the both sides of the central die 7, and a top die 10 having a projection 9 mated with the central die 7 projectingly formed to a flat face 10a, a slit 11 is inserted around the projected central die 7 so as to set a chip urethane 3 on the bottom die 6, a carpet is mounted on the chip urethane 3 so as to cover the top surface of the central die 7, the forming die 20 is clamped, the carpet 2 on the central die 7 is sandwiched between the projection 9 and the central die 7 so as to draw the slit 11 therein, and then a recessed groove of the carpet 2 is formed. |
