Method for making of feed blends containing materials which need to be ground up. A production line for grinding and weighing of material contains several silos or storages 1 with dispensing systems 2. By means of a distributing layout 3, the materials which are not to be ground are taken directly to the scale 4. Materials which need to be ground are taken to the scale via the desired mill type 5, 6, so that the grinding occurs at the same time as the weighing. The dispensing systems thus are controlled by both the mill workload and the weight. In order to make better utilisation of the mills, the ingredients of the feed blend can be advantageously weighed on several parallel production lines, with or without mills. With this method, a very simple and quick production process is achieved, which is easy to control, and where it is possible to give the individual ingredients an optimal structure. The compact layout without intermediate containers and elevators saves energy and at the same time makes it easy to keep the plant clean, so as to prevent the formation of salmonella bacteria, for example. <IMAGE>
