<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a uniform multivalue latent image by setting a resolution width at a specific light amount of an exposing optical system comprising an array of light-emitting elements and an image-forming element set in the vicinity of an image-forming body to be wider than an emission unit and narrower than a recording unit. SOLUTION: A color image-forming apparatus forming color images with the use of a plurality of image-exposing means has an exposing optical system 12 comprising an LED array arranged in an axial direction of a photosensitive drum 10 and an image-forming element. When an image signal of each color read by an image-reading device is sequentially taken out and input from a memory to the exposing optical system, an organic photosensitive layer of the photosensitive drum 10 is exposed, whereby a color toner image is formed. At this time, the exposing optical system 12 is formed to have a resolution width at a maximum light amount of 0.5 to be wider than an emission unit and narrow than a recording unit formed by a concentration pattern method. Accordingly, irregularities in positional accuracy and formation of images are reduced, making it possible to form uniform multivalue latent images.</p> |
