PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for an aluminum material capable of joining well even when at least one of members to be joined is made of an aluminum casting. SOLUTION: After two of aluminum joining members 1, 2, in which at least one of them is an aluminum casting, are arranged at a joining planned position, by a friction agitation welding method, in which a probe 11 rotating at high speed is brought into contact with a joining part 3 to soften/join by friction heat, both members are joined. It is desirable to combine aluminum castings each other or an aluminum casting and an Al-Cu alloy elongated material. |
