PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject vector for producing an endothelial nitric oxide synthase (e-NOS) useful for the research for its expression mechanism, having a relation to hypotension by integrating a cDNA encoding the e-NOS. SOLUTION: This new vector is obtained by integrating a DNA encoding an endothelial nitric oxide synthase (e-NOS) having an amino acid sequence of the formula, acts as a hypotensive factor and is used for the production of e-NOS useful for the research, etc., of an expression mechanism of e-NOS causing an endotoxin shock such as a sepsis. The vector is obtained by performing a reverse-transcription of an mRNA obtained from a human umbilical cord to synthesize a cDNA, preparing a cDNA library by using the cDNA, collecting amplified fragments by performing a PCR of the library by using an oligonucleotide having a partial base sequence of the e-NOS as a primer, then integrating the fragment into a plasmid, etc. |
