PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous emulsion nutritional composition having improved bitterness, excellent in discoloration when being heated, and long term preservation by using L-arginine and a peptide containing glutamine in combination and regulating the pH of the liquid to a specific region. SOLUTION: This aqueous emulsion nutritional composition includes (A) L-arginine and (B) a peptide containing glutamine, and preferably (C) water- insoluble dietary fiber, (D) middle chain fatty acid triglyceride and (E) a nucleic acid, and the pH of the composition is regulated to 5.5-7.0. The composition preferably includes 0.5-1.5wt.% component A, 0.5-2.0wt.% component B, 0.3-0.8wt.% component C, 0.1-1.5wt.% component D and <=0.3wt.% component E, and the pH of the composition is regulated by citric acid. |
