<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling paper sheet feeding capable of preventing a reduction in a printing speed even if a paper sheet carrying speed is increased and a paper sheet carrying error is made. SOLUTION: In a feeding control method for carrying and supplying paper sheets housed in a stacker by a pick roller driven by a stepping motor, during initial motor control for feeding the paper sheets, the stepping motor is started by a starting frequency fs1 lower than a maximum self-starting frequency to perform through-up control, constant driving control is performed by a driving frequency ft higher than the maximum self-starting frequency and lower than maximum response frequency and, when a paper sheet carrying error occurs, the stepping motor is temporarily stopped, then started again by a starting frequency fs2 lower than the starting frequency fs1 to perform through-up control, and constant driving control is performed by the same driving frequency ft as the first.</p> |
