<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high sealability by pinching both sides of a sealing plate consisting of an elastic body, with two reinforcing plates consisting of metals, sticking it fast, and forming a sandwitch-form stacking body, blanking it by a press punch, and fitting it in a fitting groove of a bearing. SOLUTION: A sealing plate and an layered body consisting of two reinforcing plates at both sides are blanked by a press punch, securing a stacked ring. In time of this punch forming, in addition to a layered flat ring forming a sealing ring 3a and two reinforcing rings 4a at both sides by way of blanking them the same diametral size, in time of blanking with the press punch, pressure in a pressing die is adjusted, whereby the sealing ring 3a is formable into a lipped ring form making it form a lip part 3b where a peripheral edge of the sealing ring 3a is more projected than that of the reinforcing ring 4a. Thus, in the punch forming of the bearing seal, since it is made into a structure pinched with an elastic body by plates, high rigidity is obtainable, and thereby any deformation is prevented by an elastic buffer action at the inside and molding can be done accurately, while even in case of press-in attachment, it is firmly attachable and lockable.</p> |
