RECOVERY OF SPECIFIC GASEOUS COMPONENT IN COMBUSTION GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temp. separation method of carbon dioxide using a ceramic exhibiting surface basicity. SOLUTION: In the separation and the recovery of a specific gaseous component (carbon dioxide) from a high temp. combustion gas discharged as a combustion gas, the high temp. combustion gas is passed through an adsorbent containing the ceramic exhibiting basicity as it is or after setted to a prescribed temp. to adsorb the specific gaseous component on the ceramic and each specific gaseous component is selectively separated and recovered by the difference of the temp. of adsorption and desorption of each specific gaseous component to the ceramic.
