PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method for a brake disk composite material for railway vehicle dispersing ceramic particles into aluminum alloy as a matrix. SOLUTION: In a process for producing a cast block by depositing and solidifying the unsolidified fine powders atomizing molten aluminum alloy with inert gas on a base board, the composite dispersing 5-30wt.% particles in the aluminum alloy matrix by mixing the ceramic particles having 1-20μm average particle diameter into the molten atomizing, is made to the block and press-worked. As this matrix, the aluminum alloy of the alloy containing 2-5% Mg, 0.1-1% Mn and 0.05-0.35% Cr or the alloy containing 5-10% Fe and 0.2-3% total of one or more kinds among V, Mo, Zr, Ti, Cr, Mn or Ni or the alloy containing <=4% total of one or more kinds among Cu, Mg, Fe, Ni, Mn, Cr, Ti, Zn or Zr, etc., is used.
