PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink absorber for water ink which shows an outstanding adhesion after drying following the rapid absorption of a water ink, and also shows a clear print free from color shading or ink bleeding. SOLUTION: This water ink absorber 2 is prepared by blending to 100 pts.wt. of polyurethane resin modified by polyether polyol containing polyethylene oxide 30-500 pts.wt. of silica, collagen, crosslinked acrylate, or calcium carbonate singly or in an appropriate combination of them as a water absorbent. Regarding the blending amount of the crosslinked acrylate, 300 pts.wt. for 100 pts.wt. of the polyurethane resin modified by the polyether polyol is set not to be exceeded regardless of single or combined use with another water absorbent. |
