PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial sizing agent composition for always imparting excellent antimicrobial properties to a fabric such as a shirt, a bathrobe, a sheet, a cover for a Futon (a thin mattress, usually filled with layers of cotton batting and encased in a cotton fabric), a seat cover or a curtain each time the fabric is washed. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial sizing agent composition is obtained by including microcapsules, enclosing 5-50wt.% oil of Thujopsis dolabrata var. Hondai Makino and having 1-50μm average grain diameter in a sizing agent. The sizing agent composition is used to fix the oil of Thujopsis dolabrate var. Hondai Makino in an amount of 0.4-5wt.% based on a fabric thereto according to a method for dipping, spraying, etc. |
