PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase production efficiency by controlling the driving direction and speed of a hydraulic cylinder in accordance with the set value of motion data such as a pressure position, pressure holding time, stand-by position, stand-by time and pressure force of each stage. SOLUTION: Such data are inputted in a setting means as the lower limit position Ln , stand-by position Mn , slow descending speed, slow ascending speed, pressure holding time (stand-by time in a pressure process), pressure force, and stand-by time (in a stand-by process) for each stage of a multistage motion. The hydraulic force of a hydraulic cylinder is controlled by a servo relief valve. The position and speed of the hydraulic cylinder is controlled by a proportional flow rate control valve. A controller, on the basis of the set data, outputs a pressure command signal to the servo relief valve and a flow rate command signal to the proportional flow rate control valve. With automation established, productivity is enhanced. Multi-process machining or complex machining is made possible under the optimum working conditions for a work and also in a short time, facilitating the operation. |
