PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an interior decoration, resistant to light and fouling and excellent in even rub resistance and water and oil repellencies, etc., and widely utilize YUZEN (a pictorial silk fabric dyed in the YUZEN fashion) for indoor interiors, building materials, etc. SOLUTION: This method for producing an interior decoration comprises at least a step for drawing a rough sketch on a fabric cut to a prescribed size, a step for drawing fine lines with a rubber cement along the rough sketch, a step for carrying out the coloring along the rough sketch with a coloring matter composition consisting essentially of a pigment, a step for drying and washing the fabric after completing the coloring and a step for impregnating the fabric with a fluorine-based compound and then hot-air drying the resultant fabric. Thereby, the produced YUZEN can be used as interior decorations for decorating wall surfaces in a well-lighted or a dusty place such as a lobby of a hotel or wall surfaces near water in a heated swimming pool. |
