PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare the subject low-caloric beverage good in sweetness even by reducing the sweetness by specifying the gas pressure of a carbonated beverage containing erythritol and a sweetener having a high sweetness in a container. SOLUTION: This carbonated beverage is prepared by specifying the gas pressure of the carbonated beverage containing 1-8wt.% erythritol and 0.005-0.03wt.% sweetener having a high sweetness (stevia, aspartame, etc.) in a container as 0.4-1.5kg/cm<2> , preferably 0.8-1.0kg/cm<2> gauge pressure. Thereby, the resultant beverage has a weak irritant taste and taste of carbonic acid and a light sense with a controlled calorie and is good in palatability and capable of providing an indication of being sugarless. |
