<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a feeding failure such as skew feeding by uniformly press-contacting a paper sheet on a movable bottom plate with the outer peripheral surface of a feed roller without any one-sided contact even if the movable bottom plate and a bottom plate push lever are inclined in position to each other and surely feed the paper sheet to a nip position between the feed roller and a separation roller without any contact between the tip part of the curled paper sheet and the paper sheet contacting surface of a paper sheet housing canister main body during feeding. SOLUTION: A paper feeding device is constructed in such a manner that a projecting portion is formed in any one of a movable bottom plate 64 and a bottom plate pushup lever 65 in order to made a contact part therebetween to be point contact, the movable bottom plate 64 being supported in the bottom part of a paper sheet housing canister main body 61 for raising stacked paper sheets P, and the bottom plate pushup lever 65 being for driving the moveable bottom plate 64 to be vertically moved, a plurality of feed rollers 71 press- contacted with the paper sheets P on the movable bottom plate 65 for feeding the same are disposed in two spots in both sides of the contact part to be nearly equal in distance on a rotary shaft 71A supported in the direction orthogonal to the feeding direction. A flexible sheet member 75 is provided in the feeding direction downstream of the movable bottom plate 64.</p> |
