WET REFINING METHOD OF NICKEL BY CHLORINE LEACHING ELECTROLYTIC EXTRACTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet refining method of nickel which efficiently leaches and recovers nickel from nickel sulfide while mainlining profitability by using inexpensive gas such as air to replace a part of chlorine used to blowing in a chlorine leaching electrolytic extracting method. SOLUTION: At the time of leaching the nickel by blowing the chlorine into slurry of nickel sulfide and chloride water solution in reaction vessels 1a, 1b, 1c, the chlorine generated in an electrolytic vessel 9 is circulatedly used to the blowing. Further, under existence of acid produced by blowing the chlorine, instead of a part of the chlorine or as the supplement of shortage of the chlorine, the air or oxygen enriched air or oxygen for industry is blown into the reaction vessel 1c to leach the nickel.
