PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a camera from a dangerous matter or flying matter and ensure the safety in a monitor device of hydraulic shovel capable of monitoring the rear by a monitor camera by proving a notch formed by opening one of the rear part or side part of a counterweight, and arranging the monitor camera in the inner part, so that the shade image photographed thereby can be received by a monitor television. SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel is formed of a base carrier 3 having traveling function, and a revolving superstructure 2 for supporting an attachment 7. The revolving superstructure 2 has an operating chamber 4 in the left front part and a counterweight 5 in the rear part. A notch part 6 is provided on the rear surface and side surface parts of the counterweight 5, and a monitor camera 1 is rotatably provided in the inner part, so that the image from the monitor camera 1 can be seen in sitting. Thus, the monitor camera 1 is arranged in the notch part 6, whereby breakage of the camera 1 is prevented and the safety of work can be ensured. |
