The cover has, at each side of the coupling, two plates joined with a vertical hinge.The inner plates, which are supported on swivelling links which are coaxial with coupling pivot, fit closely to the coupling head with a slotted attachment which accommodates axial, vertical, torsional and swivelling displacements of the coupling head.The rear edges of the outer plates have guide rollers which run in tracks attached to the structure of the tram.
