PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of a thermal transcription capable of printing with the transcription without damaging an air penetration, a sweat absorbing property, etc., of a clothing, etc., by applying an adhesive only on an image part of a transcription medium, then overlapping the adhesive surface of the transcription medium on a material to be transcribed as facing each other and performing the transcription by heating and compressing. SOLUTION: This method of a thermal transcription is constituted by using a paper or a synthetic resin film as a transcription medium, forming a desired image on the surface thereof by an electronic photographic method, then applying an adhesive obtained by dispersing a fine powder of a vinyl chloride-based (co)polymer in a liquid plasticizer only on a toner-adhered part by a silk screening printing method, temporarily drying at >=70 deg.C and <=150 deg.C, overlapping the adhesive layer of the above transcription medium on a material to be transcribed as facing each other, performing the transcription treatment by heating and compressing with a hot plate at a prescribed temperature, removing the pressure and then peeling off the transcription medium. |
