摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable image free from color migration by first, transferring a coloring matter containing a reactive group to an image receiving material and thermally treating a formed colored image. SOLUTION: A yellow coloring matter layer area Y, a magneta coloring matter layer area M and a cyan coloring matter layer area C are repeatedly formed on a support 1 on the same conditions as for a heat transfer sheet so that the areas Y, M, C are present on the same area. In addition, a colorless area 3 is formed adjacent to the cyan coloring matter layer area C so that the area 3 is present on the same area as the coloring matter layer. Further, the yellow coloring matter layer area Y of a heat transfer sheet with the three coloring matter layer areas Y, M, C and the colorless area 3, and the image receiving layer face of an image receiving sheet are stacked over each other by setting the yellow coloring matter layer area Y against the image receiving sheet. Next, the coloring matter is transferred from the back face of the heat transfer sheet on the heating conditions of a thermal head at the time of heat transfer to obtain a yellow image. After that, the magneta coloring matter layer area M of the heat transfer sheet is stacked over the yellow image and heated to form a magneta image on the part where the yellow image is not formed. In addition, a cyan image is likewise formed, and the colorless area of the heat transfer sheet is stacked over the cyan image and finally, the entire face is thermally treated with the coloring matter layer on the same conditions as for heat transfer.
