PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for non-destructively deciding non-defective or defective of a joint element for easily deciding the non-defective or defective of the element irrespective of dimensional accuracy of a tube end or tube joint, an apparatus for deciding non-defective or defective of the element used for the method and a tube joint. SOLUTION: The method for deciding non-defective or defective of a joint element comprises the steps of rotating a tube joint 2 in the state that an end of a thermoplastic resin tube 2 to be connected is engaged with the joint 2, friction fusing an inner wall surface of the joint 2 and an outer wall surface of the end 8 by the rotation, and fusion connecting the end to the joint 2. In this case, it has a means for sensing a pressure of a connected part. The non- defective or defective is decided according to whether the sensed pressure arrives at a predetermined value or not.
