<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize energy required for filter recovery by measuring the dirt of a filter set, independently controlling resistance elements to heat filter elements in accordance with the measured dirt and measuring available electric power. SOLUTION: A filter set (particle filter) 1 contains plural filter elements 11-13 partitioned with partitions 6. The filter elements 11-13 are provided with resistance elements 3 to allow the heating of the filter elements in plural areas and squeezing means 31-33 on the upstream sides, respectively. To control the resistance elements to be electrified, data including upstream pressure, temperature and speed detected by various detractors are input to a computer 5 for measuring the dirt of the filter set. When the backing pressure of the filter set 1 exceeds a threshold value, the squeezing means 31-33 and the resistance elements 3 are controlled to be electrified for starting filter recovery.</p> |
