PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the influence of instability peculiar to blood pressure measurement in a short time, to improve the reproducibility, and to prevent the erroneous judgement of a user, by judging that a blood pressure is instable when the fluctuation width of a part or all of a waveform feature amount obtained for plural heart rates exceeds a prescribed threshold value. SOLUTION: A pulse wave detection part 1 detects a pulsation component and an electrocardiographic detection part 3 detects the potential change of an electrode mounting to a body surface as electrocardiographic signals. Pulse wave and electrocardiographic signals are passed through amplifiers 2 and 4, converted to digital signals in an A/D converter 5 and inputted to a CPU 6. The CPU 6 detects the R waves of an electrocardiographic waveform fetched by the electrocardiographic detection part 3, stores appearing time, calculates parameters relating to the pulse wave waveform and pulse wave propagation speed of beats for which a break point is detected and stores them in a storage means. Then, maximum and minimum parameters in five beats for instance are selected for the respective parameters, the difference of both is compared with the prescribed threshold value, stability is judged when the difference is smaller than the threshold value and the instability is judged when it is more than the threshold value.
|
