PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart high adhesive power at the outer ends of substrates and to obviate the occurrence of peeling by sticking the two substrates to each other by an adhesive layer formed in the state of coming into direct contact with the regions at the top and outer ends of recording layers where recording layers and the reflection layers are not disposed. SOLUTION: The disk-shaped substrate 11 which is provided with the recording layer 13 and the reflection layer 14 in this order and has a hole part 10a at its center and the disk-shaped protective plate 12 which has the same shape as the shape of this substrate are stuck to each other by the adhesive layer 16 in such a manner that the recording layer side comes to the inner side. The adhesive layer 16 comes into contact with the front surface of the reflection layer 14. The regions (exposed surfaces) exposed to the surfaces of the substrate ends are formed at the substrate outer ends of the recording layers and the reflection layer. The ends of the adhesive layer 16 are respectively joined in the state of making the tight adhesion to the exposed surfaces 17. The regions (exposed surfaces) 18 where the substrate surfaces are exposed are formed at the substrate inner ends of the recording layers and the reflection layers as well.
