PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To frequency-multiplex and transmit the signals of a long signal block length and the signals of a short signal block length by inserting a guard interval to signal blocks, after the respective transformation of inverse orthogonal transformation on a transmission side and orthogonal transformation on a reception side. SOLUTION: The transmission side (a) and the reception side (b) are respectively provided with transformation circuit parts serially in two stages. For an information signal block Yi to a fixed station, after performing the inverse orthogonal transformation (GC) in an IDFT2 11 and performing parallel, signal conversion(PC) in a P/S2 12, the guard interval(GI) is inserted into an INS2 13, and input to the GC circuit IDFT1 14 of a second stage is performed. In this case, further to the information signal block Xi to a mobile station, after performing GC in the IDFT1 14 and performing PC in a P/S1 15, the GI is inserted and then, multi-carrier transmission is performed. In the meantime, in a reception side device (b,) the inverse transformation processing of the transformation processing of a transmission side device (a) is performed, and the signal block Yi to the fixed station and the signal block Xi to the mobile station are respectively reproduced. |
