<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data transmission system that includes a transmission means of parity information, having no possibility of providing a fault to a frame pulse or the like. SOLUTION: A parity arithmetic circuit 1-1 conducts parity arithmetic operation of serial data (c) at a transmitter side 1, a parity addition circuit 1-2 multiplexes parity information (d) onto a clock (a) and transmits the result to a receiver side 2 as a transmission clock (e). A clock recovery circuit 2-4 at the receiver side 2 eliminates parity from the received clock (e) with the parity added thereto and recovers the clock (f). A parity information detection circuit 2-3 extracts parity information (i) at the transmitter side 1 from the received clock (e). A parity arithmetic circuit 2-1 calculates the parity from received serial data (g) to calculate parity information (h). A parity comparator circuit 2-5 compares the parity information sets h, i of the transmitter side 1 and the receiver side 2 and provides an output of an alarm through the discrimination of it that serial data (c) have deteriorated through transmission, when they are different.</p> |
