<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter high in quality, low in cost and excellent in safeness by using a specified disphenol epoxy resin as an epoxy compd. SOLUTION: This color filter protective film consists of a resin, a photopolymn. initiator, monomers which are hardened by the effect of the photopolymn. initiator, and an epoxy compd. The epoxy compd. is a disphenol epoxy resin having >=300 epoxy equiv. In this case, the resin, the photopolymn. initiator and the monomers which are hardened by the effect of the photopolymn. initiator are selected from wide variety of materials generally used for a resist having these components. Among the resins, a resin containing a resin having carboxyl groups or phenol hydroxyl groups in the side chains or main chains is preferably used because the protective film compsn. of the resin can be developed with an alkali and prevents environmental pollution.</p> |
