PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and successively detect the remaining amount of developer on each process cartridge and to enable a user to easily know the number of printable sheets hereafter by providing a storage means in the process cartridge. SOLUTION: This process cartridge CRG can be attached to an electrophotographic image forming device body; and it is provided with an electrophotographic photoreceptor 3, a developing means 5 for developing a latent image formed on the photoreceptor 3, a developer remaining amount detecting member 1 detecting the remaining amount of the developer in the developing means 5 and a non-volatile storage means 15 in which information on signals corresponding to the number of printed sheets and the remaining amount of the developer, at least, is stored and from/in which the stored information can be read out and written by the image forming device body. |
