NOVEL HETEROCYCLE SUBSTITUTED BENZENE DERIVATIVES AND HERBICIDE

A compound represented by general formula (I) wherein R<1> represents a halogen atom, a C1-6 alkyl group, a C1-6 alkoxy group or the like; R<2> represents a halogen atom, a C1-6 alkylsulfonyl group or the like; n is 0, 1 or the like; Het represents a saturated or unsaturated five-membered heterocyclic group substituted by R<7> and R<8> each containing one to four N, O or S atoms bonded through carbon atoms; R<3> represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R<4> represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 alkyl group or the like; R<5> represents a C1-6 alkyl group or the like; R<6> represents an optionally substituted phenyl group; and X represents SO2, CH2CO, or a methylene group. The above compounds have an excellent herbicidal activity and therefore a composition comprising the same is useful as a herbicide.
