Derivatized guar gum composition including nonionic and cationic groups which demonstrate excellent solution clarity properties for detergent applications

Nonionic and cationic derivatized guar gum which demonstrates greater than 75 % light transmission at a wavelength of from about 500-600 nanometers when dispersed in water in the amount of 0.5 parts per 100 parts water and the process for producing such guar gum is disclosed. The compositions are particularly useful for producing products having utility in personal care and industrial cleaning products.
