PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stabilized dimensional accuracy of a contact, to facilitate the manufacture, and to restrict the generation of warpage after mounting by forming a socket connector of a frame-shaped first member, which is integrally formed with plural contacts with the predetermined space in an outer frame thereof, and a second member to be fitted in the first member, and forming the second member with groove parts for housing the contacts in the fitting condition, and separating the contacts from each other with partitioning walls provided between the grooves. SOLUTION: A first member 10 of this socket connector is formed by integrally forming a contact 11, which is made of the conductive material, and an outer frame 12, which is made of the insulating material, with each other. A second member 20 made of the insulating material is alternately formed with plural partitioning walls 22 for partitioning adjacent contacts 11 from each other and plural groove parts 21 for housing contact parts 11a of each contact 11, which has spring characteristic, in the fitting condition as a completed article. |
